Lawyer Information Outside of Virginia

While the majority of people who read this blog are searching for a Virginia divorce lawyer, there quite a few visitors that reach this site looking for information and attorney profiles outside of this area. Readers are coming not just from other states but overseas as well. Therefore it seemed worthwhile to spend a little time writing about other places to go when seeking an attorney outside the state of VA.

One site of particular interest that caught my attention is Solicit a Lawyer based out of the U.K. and is an excellent place to find counsel that practice in all areas of the law and not simply in a divorce. Rather than list attorneys by state, they are generally classified by city. As an example, there is a separate section on the phrase: Lawyers Aberdeen. This takes visitors to a section of the website that lists Solicitors only in Aberdeen. Of course this online guide displays information on lawyers from more than this one city. There are actually over 100 cities that display local law firm information.

At this point in time the majority of our guests still reside in the United States and it is therefore crucial to provide additional outside sources for them to visit. The last post touched upon this topic when discussing where to find information on a particular attorney through the Virginia State Bar. However, it did not contain information on where to seek information on lawyers located out of VA. The American Bar Association serves as an excellent starting point. The place is intended both for the general public and those practicing law. The area most pertinent to our visitors is their section on family law, which contains a variety of recent topics and helpful guidance. Sample forms are quickly accessible here should individuals or couples decide to handle a divorce or aspects of the proceedings without counsel. However, it is always suggested to at least speak or consultant with an attorney before commencing any pro se divorce actions or hearings.
